Bio
Ieva Bužienė is an Associate Professor at Vilnius University Business School, where she also serves as the Director of the Bachelor's Study Programme in Business Finance and the Master's Study Programme in Sustainable Corporate Finance and Investments. With over a decade of experience in overseeing corporate finance functions in both family-owned enterprises and large corporations, Ieva has honed her expertise as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Her keen insight into financial management has contributed significantly to the success of these businesses. Passionate about promoting financial literacy from an early age, Ieva is one of the co-founders of the Financial Literacy Academy for school children at Vilnius University Business School. Through this initiative, she aims to instill sound financial principles in the next generation. Ieva is a co-author of more than ten esteemed scientific publications, reflecting her dedication to advancing knowledge in the field of finance. Her research interests encompass a wide spectrum of topics including corporate finance, financial markets, personal finance, and financial literacy. Beyond her academic pursuits, Ieva periodically imparts her knowledge and expertise abroad, sharing insights on financial management in various international settings. This exchange of ideas and experiences further enriches her multifaceted perspective. With her extensive background in corporate finance and a fervent commitment to financial education, Ieva Bužienė stands as a beacon in the realm of financial expertise, contributing significantly to both academia and practical finance management.
