Bio

Dr. Diana Bachtijeva is an Associate Professor at Vilnius University Business School. She is a member of the European Accounting Association (EAA). Diana teaches courses in financial accounting and business finance across various study programmes. Her research interests focus on financial accounting quality, earnings management, and the impact of capital structure on accounting practices, as well as on corporate environmental and social disclosure. She publishes her research in academic journals and presents findings at international conferences. Diana is also actively engaged in science communication, contributing to the professional development of accounting practitioners.
